What does awesome look like?

We might be straying a little from the Change Change theme but, there again, maybe not.

It’s a fair question – what does awesome look like?

Are we too eager to declare something as awesome when, in fact, it’s just good. Are we so used to dealing with the mediocre, that, when a colleague or a team deliver something well, it is comparatively awesome?

Awesome is literally something that inspires awe, something that overwhelms you with fear or wonder.

In your work place, are you driving for awesome – that is, inspiring awe – or, are you happy enough, just plodding along and accepting “really good” as awesome.

If you want awesome, you first need to define awesome and then drive hard to achieve awesome.

Or just keep plodding along … it is literally your decision.
