Welcome, indeed!
A couple of colleagues were sitting in a bar … it sounds like the start of a joke, doesn’t it.
They got chatting about the project they were working on and how pedestrian the change activities had become. Their client was a traditional kind of business – risk averse, run by senior leaders who were late in their career, leaders who had only ever worked in the same industry. Incremental change was a big enough step for them and for the issues they thought they had to solve.
After a couple of refreshments and some animated discussion, the conversation ended and the colleagues went their separate ways for the weekend.
But for one of those colleagues, Neil Butler, there was a nagging thought that just wouldn’t go away. Maybe, just maybe, there was something would take the business beyond incremental change, even beyond the boundaries of a transformation.
And that’s how Transformagination was born!
